Mobile messaging has some of the highest engagement rates across all messaging channels. Most of your contacts are not more than a few feet from their mobile phones at any given time. Listrak's SMS offering allows you to capture the attention of these mobile users via SMS or MMS messages*. You can utilize either sender codes (5-6 digits) or long codes, or a mix of the two across countries, based on your SMS program reach and need.

Countries Supported

Listrak's international support continues to grow and evolve as client needs and an individual country's carriers evolve. At this time sender and long codes are supported in the following countries:

  • United States: Toll-free numbers and sender codes

  • Canada: Toll-free numbers and sender codes

  • United Kingdom: long codes and sender codes

  • Australia: long codes

How are Countries Different?

Each country has it's own requirements for compliance and agencies that regulate the laws surrounding these requirements.

Some factors to consider when evaluating adding an SMS program in additional countries include:

  • Language: What language do your contacts speak?

  • Timing: Enabling quiet hours ensures contacts receive messages during their active hours.

  • Compliance Language: For each sender or long code, configure your compliance language based on the country requirements.

  • Message Type: Some carriers and countries only support the sending of SMS messages. If a country does not support MMS message the option will not appear in the compose message section of the Listrak platform.
