Integration Guide: Rivo

Rivo is a Loyalty and Referral platform built for ShopifyPlus. Rivo allows you to create customized loyalty programs to create repeat customers.

By integrating your Rivo account with Listrak, customer data can seamlessly be incorporated to your marketing email and SMS programs. Get the most benefits out of your program by:

Automated Messages in Listrak

With your integrated data, you can use Listrak to automate your loyalty or survey initiative and drive continued engagement with the brand.

Campaign Types

Listrak receives data that supports the following types of triggers:

  • Customer activated their account

  • Customer signed up as an advocate (referral program)

  • Advocate statistics were updated or fetched

  • Customer was downgraded to a lower VIP tier

  • Customer was upgraded to a higher VIP tier

  • Customer’s VIP tier was updated

  • Customer’s loyalty profile was updated

  • Final reminder sent before points expire

  • Warning sent that points are close to expiring

  • Final reminder sent before a reward expires

  • Warning sent that a reward is close to expiring

  • Points were awarded (for an action/event)

  • Points awarded for customer's birthday

  • Customer redeemed points for a reward

  • Referral was completed (referee made a purchase/etc.)

  • Referral was marked ineligible

  • Referrer received a delayed reward (e.g. after purchase delay)

  • Someone signed up using a referral link

  • Referral invite was created/sent


Creating Automated Campaigns

The Listrak/Rivo integration is powered by webhooks that syncs data between the two platforms. Using Listrak's Custom Events, you can create customized journeys based on the data provided from Rivo. Your custom event can include data parameters such as loyalty tier, points expiration warning , and more. These data parameters can then be used to route contacts to different messaging, such as tier-specific creative.

In order to set up the campaign, you will need to create or gather the following assets:

  • Custom event for each campaign type

  • Email message creative for each message

  • SMS/MMS message copy



Integrating with Rivo

Contact your Listrak Account Manager to kickoff the process of integrating with Listrak using the REST API. You will need access to the login credentials to your Rivo account to integrate with Listrak.
