Learn how to set global settings including creating a corporate review group.

The Listrak Account Settings page can be used to create and manage global settings across all email lists in your Listrak account. These settings can also be set at the list settings level for each list in your account.


Default Settings

  • Domain Alias: This setting can be updated if all lists in the account use the same domain alias for branding purposes. Please work with Listrak Support to set up your domain alias.

  • Bounce Alias: This setting can be updated if all lists in the account use the same bounce alias for branding purposes. Please work with Listrak Support to set up your bounce alias.

  • Preferred Time Zone: This setting will be the default time zone used when sending messages and in the email message reporting. This can be changed at the user account level if your team is located in multiple time zones.

💡 Default settings are not required at the account level. The preferred time zone is the most common default setting used by Listrak clients.


Subscription Management

The subscription management settings control how contacts are handled when they take action on one list, but are subscribed to multiple lists.

  • Abuse Complaints: Abuse complaints occur when someone marks an email as spam. Set the toggle to yes to unsubscribe a contact from all lists or to no to only unsubscribe them from the list used to send the email they marked as spam.

  • Bounces: This setting will remove a contact when hey hit a hard bounce limit (based on the setting below). Setting the toggle to yes will unsubscribe a contact from all lists or to no will only unsubscribe them from the list used to send the emails that bounced.

  • Hard Bounces: This setting will unsubscribe a contact after a number of hard bounces. Hard bounces mean a contact's email server cannot be reached and the reason cannot be fixed, such as when a user's email address has been deleted from the server. If a contact reaches this bounce number they will be unsubscribed from the specific list or all lists based on the bounce setting above.


The corporate review group is a list of up to eight email addresses that will receive a copy of every email message sent. Corporate review groups are often used by teams to ensure their customer service representatives are aware of marketing promotions.

Unlike the list review group on the List Settings page, the corporate review group will not receive copies of test emails. To ensure that the reports are as accurate as possible, the messages sent to the corporate review group are not tracked through Listrak’s reporting. Opens, reads, clicks, etc. by the members of this group will not be counted in message analytics.

To get started, in the navigation select, Account > Account Account Settings.

  1. Scroll to the Notification Settings.

  2. Enter the email addresses for your Corporate Review Group members.

    💡 Click Add Reviewer to add additional spaces for email addresses.

  3. Click Save Changes.
