How Can I Use Shopify Segments in Listrak?
Shopify Segments can be used when creating an audience for a marketing message, to trigger a Segment Entry Event Journey, or in a Journey Segment Decision Split.
Create a segment of in-store customers if using Shopify POS systems and send broadcast emails about upcoming in-store events or promotions. Shopify segments can be used to send broadcast messages in both the Listrak Classic and NextGen platform.
Combine Listrak's product-based segmentation with Shopify's collection-based segmentation to identify contacts who recently viewed items from a collection.
Create a segment based on a contact's RFM analysis (recency, frequency, monetary value).
Create a segment based on a radius from a location (shipping address or billing address).
Use a segment entry event journey to create a recurring reminder for anyone who has store credit to spend (must track store credit in Shopify). The segment entry event is only available on Listrak's NextGen platform.
Use a segment split in a post purchase journey to tailor messages based on order history (e.g. ordered 3 times within the last year and spent at least $500). Segment splits in Journey Hub are only available in the Listrak NextGen platform.
π‘ Important Notes
Criteria for a Shopify segment can only be viewed and edited in the Shopify admin.
If the criteria of a Shopify segment is edited, the changes will be applied in Listrak. The segment will re-run and identify contacts who fit the updated criteria.
The edit function (3 dots) on the Segment Management page will not load for Shopify segments.
In the NextGen platform, a Shopify badge will show on the Segment Management page and in the Audience Builder to identify Shopify segments.
No Marketable Contacts will display when using a Shopify segment in a Journey Hub Segment Entry journey in the NextGen platform.
