Adding the Listrak Domain Alias Branding Record
- Log in to your DynECT account and locate the My Services option. 
- Find the Zone you would like to update and click on DynE Standard DNS Service which is on the right of the zone’s name. 
- The four record types that are available in the standard interface are A, CNAME, TXT and MX. Each has their own button assigned to their respective record type. 
- Select Advanced DNS. 
- Click Continue. 
- Click Add Alias (CNAME). - Hostname: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. For Listrak, we recommend “link” 
- Alias To: Enter the host name that the alias from the above step will point to. For Listrak, this will need to be “customers.esp1.co” 
 
- Click Create Record. 
Adding the Listrak Google Postmaster Tools Record
- Log in to your Dyn account and locate the My Services option. 
- Find the Zone you would like to update and click on Dyn Standard DNS Service which is on the right of the zone’s name. 
- The four record types that are available in the standard interface are A, CNAME, TXT and MX. Each has their own button assigned to their respective record type. 
- Select Advanced DNS. 
- Click Continue. 
- Click Add Alias (CNAME). - Hostname: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the hostname. 
- Alias To: Enter the alias to name that the alias the above step will point to. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the alias to name. 
 
- Click Create Record. 
Adding the Listrak Bounce Domain Branding Record
- Log in to your Dyn account and locate the My Services option. 
- Find the Zone you would like to update and click on Dyn Standard DNS Service which is on the right of the zone’s name. 
- Scroll down to the bottom of the zone information screen to access the Add DNS Record field. 
- Fill out the following: - Hostname: Enter the subdomain name for the MX record. For Listrak, we recommend “bounce” - ⚠️ Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If it is not, you may experience issues with receiving emails on your internal network. 
- TTL: Time to Live determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind. 
- Type: Set to MX.Data: Enter the mail server’s address and priority. For Listrak, this has to be “10 bounce.esp1.co” - ⚠️ The priority can be set higher than 10 based on your preference. 
 
- Click Create Record. 
Adding Listrak SPF Branding Record
- Log in to your Dyn account and locate the My Services option. 
- Find the Zone you would like to update and click on Dyn Standard DNS Service which is on the right of the zone’s name. 
- The four record types that are available in the standard interface are A, CNAME, TXT and MX. Each has their own button assigned to their respective record type. - Select Advanced DNS. 
- Click Continue. 
 
- Click Add Text Record. - Hostname: Enter the subdomain name for the TXT record. For Listrak, we recommend “bounce" 
- Text: Enter the value you want to assign to the record. For Listrak, this has to be “v=spf1 include:esp1.co -all” - ⚠️ Please note that the double quotes around TXT values in Dyn DNS are required. 
 
- Click Create Record. 
Adding Listrak DKIM Branding Record
- Log in to your Dyn account and locate the My Services option. 
- Find the Zone you would like to update and click on Dyn Standard DNS Service which is on the right of the zone’s name. 
- The four record types that are available in the standard interface are A, CNAME, TXT and MX. Each has their own button assigned to their respective record type. - Select Advanced DNS. 
- Click Continue. 
 
- Click Add Text Record. - Hostname: Enter the subdomain name for the TXT record. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT Name and will most likely be “key1._domainkey” 
- Text: Enter the value you want to be assigned to the record. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT value. - ⚠️ Please note that the double quotes around TXT values in Dyn DNS are needed. 
 
- Click Create Record.
