Adding Listrak Domain Alias Branding Record
Log into your account at https://portal.nexcess.net/login.
Choose DNS in the upper right-hand corner.
If the domain is not already created, choose Add New next to DNS Zone List. Choose the menu toggle (3 dots) next to your domain and choose View.
Choose Add New next to DNS Record List.
Fill out the following information in the form that displays:
Type: Choose CNAME
Name: We recommend using link.domain.com
Text String: Add customers.esp1.co
Click Create to save the CNAME record.
Adding the Listrak Google Postmaster Tools
Log into your account at https://portal.nexcess.net/login
Choose DNS in the upper right-hand corner.
If the domain is not already created, choose Add New next to DNS Zone List. Choose the menu toggle (3 dots) next to your domain and choose View.
Choose Add New next to DNS Record List.
Fill out the following information in the form that displays:
Type: Choose CNAME
Name: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. You will receive an email from Listrak Support that contains this value.
Text String: Enter the host name value that the alias from the above step will point to. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains this value.
Click Create to save the CNAME record.
Adding the Listrak Bounce Domain Branding Record
Log into your account at https://portal.nexcess.net/login
Choose DNS on the upper right-hand corner.
If the domain is not already created, choose Add New next to DNS Zone List. For this record in particular, you will most likely need to add a new DNS zone for bounce.domain.com in order to use this as a subdomain.
Choose the menu toggle (3 dots) next to your domain and choose View.
Choose Add New next to DNS Record List.
Please fill out the following information in the form that displays:
Type: Choose MX
Host: Enter the mail server that the bounce record will point to. We would use bounce.esp1.co
⚠️ Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If it is not, you may experience issues with receiving emails on your internal network.
MX Rank: Enter select priority you want to assign to the mail server. For Listrak, we recommend selecting 10.
Click Create to save the MX record.
Adding the Listrak SPF Branding Record
Log into your account at https://portal.nexcess.net/login
Choose DNS in the upper right-hand corner.
If the domain is not already created, choose Add New next to DNS Zone List. Choose the menu toggle (3 dots) next to your domain and choose View.
Choose Add New next to DNS Record List.
Please fill out the following information in the form that displays:
Type: Choose TXT
Name: We recommend using bounce.domain.com. In the second box, enter the host name value that the alias the above step will point to. For Listrak, this will need to be v=spf1 include:esp1.co -all
⚠️ Double quotes around TXT values in Nexcess are NOT needed. This will cause two sets of double quotes around the TXT value.
Click Create to save the TXT record.
Adding the Listrak DKIM Branding Record
Log into your account at https://portal.nexcess.net/login
Choose DNS on the upper right-hand corner.
If the domain is not already created, choose Add New next to DNS Zone List. Choose the menu toggle (3 dots) next to your domain and choose View.
Choose Add New next to DNS Record List.
Please fill out the following information in the form that displays:
Type: Choose TXTName: You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT Name and will most likely be key1._domainkey.domain.com
Text String: You will enter the host name value that the alias the above step will point to. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT value. This will most likely begin with k=rsa; p=
⚠️ Double quotes around TXT values in Nexcess are not needed. This will cause two sets of double quotes around the TXT value.
Click Create to save the TXT record.
Creating a Yahoo Feedback Loop
Yahoo requires a [email protected] inbox setup to receive feedback and the verification code during the initial setup.
After the postmaster inbox is created and accessible, please contact Listrak Support or your account manager.
Listrak Support will fill out the Yahoo Feedback Loop creation form and you will receive a verification code from Yahoo.
Once you receive the verification code it must be sent to Listrak Support in order to complete the Yahoo Feedback Loop request.
