Once you’ve decided to migrate a marketing program from Attentive to Listrak, it’s critical to export and organize as much channel performance data as possible to allow for proper comparative analysis after relaunching. This includes results from email, SMS, app push, and/or web push campaigns. Having all of this in hand will help you and your Listrak Account Team better optimize your program moving forward and provide year over year comparison data, even when your former platform is no longer accessible.

Consolidating your marketing channels into one, cohesive platform will allow you to more efficiently manage your campaigns and create a cleaner customer experience. But you’re likely to see a shift in revenue attribution. Reviewing your email, SMS, app push, and web push campaigns together as compared to across disparate platforms will allow you to identify those changes easier. And historical data from your previous provider will support analysis, too.

We recommend exporting the results from the following campaigns, for the previous 12 months (at least):

  • Broadcast/promotional/one-off messages

  • Triggered automations, including Welcome Series, Cart Abandonment, Checkout, Abandonment, Product Browse Abandonment, Page Browse Abandonment, Low Inventory Alert, Back In Stock Alert, Price Drop Alert, Post Purchase, and any others

  • Transactional messages, including Order Confirmation, Shipping Confirmation, and any others

These results should be broken out per each campaign type, ideally by month, and include the following data points:

  • Send volume

  • Delivered/failure volume

  • Opens and Open Rate

  • Unique Clicks and Click Rate

  • Conversions and Conversion Rate

  • Attributed Revenue

If you currently set goals and review results by day or week, you can export and organize your data in the corresponding format, as well as look back further than the trailing 12 months. The latter is especially important to do if your business went through a significant change.

To export your results from Attentive, navigate to the Reports tab:

  • Click into any templated reports from your ‘Reports library’ or custom reports in your ‘Saved reports’

  • Set your date range to the trailing 12 months (at least) and group by month, day, or week

  • You can click the ‘Customize’ button to hide/show any relevant metrics to your program, as well as group by various tags

  • Click the ‘Export’ button to generate and download a CSV file with your data

💡 Consult the Attentive Help Center to confirm these steps, or if any reports, buttons, or data points do not appear
