One of the most powerful ways to target groups of customers is by those who took a specific action on a certain date, within a specified date range, or if simply took the action at all. Target customers by subscription date, how they are engaging with your emails, or what they have purchased.
How the Operators Work
When using date filters in the Segment Filter 2.0 system there are three ways in which a date can be calculated - Relative timeframe, Absolute timeframe, or the State (value or no value). Relative and Absolute operators are used to reference a range of time or a single 24 hour day a contact performed an action, whereas the State operators are used to target contacts that simply have a date value in a profile field.

The relative operators compare time (days, weeks, months, or years) against today, there are 6 different choices for this option; Is Today, Is More Than, Is Exactly, Is Less Than, Is Between, Is Not Between.
