Adding the Listrak Domain Alias Branding Record

  1. Log in to your Yahoo! Small Business account.

  2. On the My Services page, in the section for the domain you want to update, click Domains.

  3. On the Domain Control Panel page, click Manage Advanced DNS Settings.

  4. In the A and CNAME Records section, click Add Record.

    1. Source: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. For Listrak, we recommend link.

    2. Destination: Enter the host name that the alias from step 4a will point to. For Listrak, use customers.esp1.co

  5. Click Submit.

  6. On the next page, verify the entries are correct, then click Submit.

Adding the Listrak Google Postmaster Tools Record

  1. Log in to your Yahoo! Small Business account.

  2. On the “My Services" page, in the section for the domain you wish to update, click Domains.

  3. On the “Domain Control Panel” page, click Manage Advanced DNS Settings.

  4. In the “A and CNAME Records” section, click Add Record.

    1. Source: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. You'll receive an email from Listrak Support that contains the source.

    2. Destination: Enter the host name that the alias from step 4a will point to. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the destination.

  5. Click Submit.

  6. On the next page, verify the entries are correct, then click Submit.

Adding the Listrak Bounce Domain Branding Record

  1. Log in to Account Manager.

  2. Contact Yahoo! Small Business’ Support to ensure proper setup of Listrak’s bounce record: https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contact#5.7.5.

    ⚠️ Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If not, you may experience issues receiving emails on your internal network.

    1. Host Name: For Listrak, we recommend bounce. If this record cannot be entered as an MX type, then the record can be entered as a CNAME type.

    2. Point To Address: For Listrak, use bounce.esp1.co

    3. Priority: For Listrak, we recommend a priority of 10.

    4. TTL: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

Adding the Listrak SPF Branding Record

  1. Log into Account Manager.

  2. Yahoo! Small Business’ Support will need to be contacted to ensure proper setup of Listrak’s SPF record: https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contact#5.7.5.

    1. Host Name: For Listrak, we recommend “bounce.”  This must be entered as a TXT record type.

    2. Point To Value: For Listrak, this has to be “v=spf1 inclued:esp1.co -all”

    3. TTL: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

⚠️ Please note that the double quotes around TXT values in Yahoo! Small Business might not be needed, as this will cause two sets of double quotes around the TXT value.  Please check with Yahoo! Small Business Support to see if TXT values need to be wrapped in double quotes.

Adding the Listrak DKIM Branding Record

  1. Log into Account Manager.

  2. Yahoo! Small Business’ Support will need to be contacted to ensure proper setup of Listrak’s DKIM record: https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/contact#5.7.5

    1. Host Name: You'll receive an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT name and will most likely be key1._domainkey

    2. Point To Value: You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT value.

    3. TTL: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record.  This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

Creating a Yahoo Feedback Loop

  1. Yahoo requires a [email protected] inbox setup to receive feedback and the verification code during the initial setup.

  2. After the postmaster inbox is created and accessible, contact Listrak Support or your Listrak Account Manager.

  3. Listrak Support will fill out the Yahoo Feedback Loop creation form and you will receive a verification code from Yahoo.

  4. Once you receive the verification code, send the code to Listrak Support in order to complete the Yahoo Feedback Loop request.
