Adding the Listrak Domain Alias Branding Record

  1. Log in to Account Manager.

  2. Use the My Domain Names drop down to choose the domain you would like to manage. Then click Go.

  3. Click on Change Where Domain Points.

  4. Select Advanced DNS and click Continue.

  5. In the Host Alias (CNAME Records) section, select Edit CNAME Records.

    1. Alias: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. For Listrak, we recommend link.yourdomain.com

    2. TTL: Time to Live determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

    3. Refers to Host Name: This radio button should not be selected and the drop down should be left at “Select” for Listrak records.

    4. Other Host: The radio button for this option must be turned on for Listrak records. Here you will enter the host name that the alias from the above step will point to. For Listrak, this will need to be “customers.esp1.co”

    5. Delete: Make sure this is not checked.

  6. Click Continue.

Adding the Listrak Google Postmaster Tools Record

  1. Log in to Account Manager.

  2. Use the My Domain Names drop down to choose the domain you would like to manage. Then click Go.

  3. Click on Change Where Domain Points.

  4. Select Advanced DNS and click Continue.

  5. In the Host Alias (CNAME Records) section, select Edit CNAME Records.

    1. Alias: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the alias name

    2. TTL: Time to Live determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

    3. Refers to Host Name: This radio button should not be selected and the drop down should be left at “Select” for Listrak records.

    4. Other Host: The radio button for this option must be turned on for Listrak records. Here you will enter the host name that the alias from the above step will point to. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the other host name.

    5. Delete: Make sure this is not checked.

  6. Click Continue.

Adding the Listrak Bounce Domain Branding Record

  1. Log in to Account Manager.

  2. Use the My Domain Names drop down to choose the domain you would like to manage. Then click Go.

  3. Click on Change Where Domain Points.

  4. Select Advanced DNS and click Continue.

  5. In the Mail Servers (MX Records) section, select Add Sub-Domain.

    1. Sub-Domain: Enter the subdomain name for the MX record. For Listrak, we recommend “bounce

      ⚠️ Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If it is not, you may experience issues with receiving emails on your internal network.

    2. Priority: Please select the priority you want to assign to the mail server. For Listrak, we recommend a priority of 10.

    3. TTL: Time to Live determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

    4. Mail Server: Enter the mail server’s address. For Listrak, this has to be “bounce.esp1.co

    5. Delete: Make sure this is not checked.

  6. Click Continue.

Adding the Listrak SPF Branding Record

  1. Log in to Account Manager.

  2. Use the My Domain Names drop down to choose the domain you would like to manage. Then click Go.

  3. Click on Change Where Domain Points.

  4. Select Advanced DNS and click Continue.

  5. In the Text (TXT Records) section, select Add Sub-Domain.

    1. Host: Enter the subdomain for the TXT record. For Listrak, we recommend “bounce

    2. Domain Name: This should already be filled out with your domain name.

    3. TTL: Time to Live determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.Text: Enter the value you want to assign to the record. For Listrak, this has to be "v=spf1 include:esp1.co -all"

      ⚠️ Please note that the double quotes around TXT values in Network Solutions are not needed. This will cause two sets of double quotes around the TXT value.

    4. Delete: Make sure this is not checked.

  6. Click Continue.

Adding the Listrak DKIM Branding Record

  1. Log in to Account Manager.

  2. Use the My Domain Names drop down to choose the domain you would like to manage.

  3. Then click Go.

  4. Click on Change Where Domain Points.

  5. Select Advanced DNS and click Continue.

  6. In the Text (TXT Records) section, select Add Sub-Domain.

    1. Host: Enter the subdomain for the TXT record. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT Name and will most likely be “key1._domainkey

    2. Domain Name: This should already be filled out with your domain name.

    3. TTL: Time to Live determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.

    4. Text: Here you will enter the value you want to assign to the record. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT value.

      ⚠️ Please note that the double quotes around TXT values in Network Solutions are not needed. This will cause two sets of double quotes around the TXT value.

    5. Delete: Make sure this is not checked.

  7. Click Continue.

Creating a Yahoo Feedback Loop

  1. Yahoo requires a [email protected] inbox setup to receive feedback and the verification code during the initial setup.

  2. After the postmaster inbox is created and accessible, please contact Listrak Support or your account manager.

  3. Listrak Support will fill out the Yahoo Feedback Loop creation form and you will receive a verification code from Yahoo.

  4. Once you receive the verification code it must be sent to Listrak Support in order to complete the Yahoo Feedback Loop request.
