ADDING LISTRAK DOMAIN ALIAS BRANDING RECORD
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Go to Server Settings.
3. Then DNS Records.
- Fully Qualified Host: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. For Listrak, we recommend enews.yourdomainhere.com
- Time To Live: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.
4. Click Add.
ADDING LISTRAK BOUNCE DOMAIN BRANDING RECORD
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Go to Server Settings.
3. Then DNS Records.
NOTE: In some versions of the control panel, this is located under Setup & Tools > Advanced Tools > DNS Records.
4. Click on Mail Servers.
5. Select “I'm setting up an external email hosting solution.”
6. Complete the following fields:
- Type: This should already be set at "MX."
- Fully Qualified Host: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. For Listrak, we recommend bounce.yourdomainhere.com
NOTE: Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If it is not, you may experience issues with receiving emails on your internal network.
- Value: Enter the host name that the alias from the previous step will point to. For Listrak, this will need to be bounce.esp1.co
- Time To Live: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.
- Priority: Enter the priority you want to assign to the mail server. For Listrak, we recommend a priority of 10.
7. Click Add.
ADDING LISTRAK SPF BRANDING RECORD
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Go to Server Settings.
3. Then DNS Records.NOTE: In some versions of the control panel, this is located under Setup & Tools > Advanced Tools > DNS Records.
4. Click Web Hosts.
5. Scroll down to the blank fields at the bottom of the list.
6. Please complete the following fields:
- Type: Select “TXT” in the drop-down.
- Fully Qualified Host: Enter the subdomain name for the alias assignment. For Listrak, we recommend bounce.yourdomainhere.com
NOTE: Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If it is not, you may experience issues with receiving emails on your internal network.
- Value: Enter the host name that the alias from the previous step will point to. For Listrak, this will need to be v=spf1 include:esp1.co –all
- Time To Live: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.
7. Click Add.
ADDING LISTRAK DKIM BRANDING RECORD
1. Navigate to Settings.
2. Go to Server Settings.
3. Then DNS Records.NOTE: In some versions of the control panel, this is located under Setup & Tools > Advanced Tools > DNS Records.
4. Click Web Hosts.
5. Scroll down to the blank fields at the bottom of the list.
6. Complete the following fields:
- Type: Select “TXT” in the drop-down.
- Fully Qualified Host: Enter the subdomain for the TXT record. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the TXT Name and will most likely be “key1._domainkey.yourdomainhere.com”
- Value: Enter the host name that the alias from the previous step will point to. You will be receiving an email from Listrak Support that contains the value.
NOTE: Make sure this record is being added as a subdomain. If it is not, you may experience issues with receiving emails on your internal network.
- Time To Live: Determines how long the server should cache information for this record. This can be left at the default setting unless there is a specific preference in mind.
7. Click Add.
CREATING A YAHOO FEEDBACK LOOP WITH LISTRAK
- Yahoo requires a postmaster@yourdomainhere.com inbox setup to receive feedback and the verification code during the initial setup.
- After the postmaster inbox is created and accessible, please contact Listrak Support or your account manager.
- Listrak Support will fill out the Yahoo Feedback Loop creation form and you will receive a verification code from Yahoo.
- Once you receive the verification code it must be sent to Listrak Support in order to complete the Yahoo Feedback Loop request.
