How Does the Extension Work?
The browser extension uses OAuth to authenticate that the user has access to the Listrak platform. You will need to log into your Listrak account in order to make use of the extension.
💡 If you have access to multiple accounts, the extension will recognize the Listrak account you are using to log in.
Key Features
Site Inspector: Use the inspector to identify the Listrak scripts and events (used to power automated campaigns) that are firing on the site. Quickly identifying site issues allows you to make changes and reduce potential losses in revenue.
Build Mode: Unlock the power of Inline Content by picking a specific element(s) on your site and populating that directly in the Inline Content builder. No need to guess about element IDs or use developer tabs to inject content on the site with Build Mode.
Experience Debugger: View all experiences that are currently live or enabled in test mode on the site. For each experience you can view current user criteria and evaluate if an experience would display based on criteria. Use the debugger to test your setup and identify any identify any conflicting properties before activating a new experience or when troubleshooting.
Customer State Simulator: Create unique customer profiles with properties such as channel subscription state or carted items to see their interactions when visiting your site. These shareable states allow you to test without having to ensure your individual criteria is an exact match. You can also gain a better understanding how these customer types engage with elements on your site.
Developer Tools: Open a dedicated DevTools logging tab in the Chrome browser to view real-time logging of Listrak event. The developer tools will automatically flag any network or event calls that are missing elements that may result in less-than-ideal function. You can export this report and share it with your team or the Listrak Client Support team for collaborative troubleshooting.
Installing the Extension
Ready to get started? You can download the extension from the Chrome Extension store.
Logging in
Once you have installed the extension on Google Chrome, open the extension on your site.
Click Sign In at the top of the extension.
A new window will appear prompting you to log in to the Listrak platform.
Confirm that the extension should be granted access to Listrak. You can remove the extension to revoke permission at any time.
Once confirmed, the window will close and you will be redirected to your site.
Extension Settings
Click on the Settings icon in the top corner to:
Sign In: Re-authorize the connect with Listrak, if needed.
Add Account: Displayed once logged in, allows you to grant permissions to a new account you have recently added.
Refresh Permission: Click this button to re-establish the permissions of the extension if you have recently updated the user permissions on your account.
Theme: Select a color mode from light, dark, or auto based on the Chrome browser settings.
Language: Select the default language used when displaying the extension
Default Selection State: Display the specific settings for each feature of the extension in an expanded or collapsed state.
Experience Debugger Sort Order: When displaying the experience on the site in the extension, display experiences based on the name, current status, or experience type.
Developer Mode: Enable the Listrak-specific Chrome dev tool for deeper troubleshooting.
Hide identity data in the UI: The extension will track and display user information such as email address as you engage with the site. Anonymize the appearance of the data by enabling the toggle. Disabling the toggle will reveal previously anonymized data.
Event Tester: Enable the event testing functionality to confirm your Listrak event code is firing correctly to power your automations
Always Show Build Mode: Display the build tab even when not actively editing inline content.
Highlight Color: Select the color the Build Mode function will use when selecting a location for inline content. Select a color that is easily visible with your website design using the color picker or an RGB code.
