How does Segment Export work?
NextGen Segment Export allows you to export a list of contacts who meet the segment criteria at the time of export. The export generates a CSV file that contains two columns: the ListrakID and IdentifierValue.
๐ก Segment export allows you to export data for Listrak User Made segments.
ListrakID: A unique identifier that identifies a contact (person) in the Listrak platform. A ListrakID may appear in the file more than once is a contact has more than one IdentifierValue.
IdentifierValue: The email address, phone number, or device ID associated with a person.
Why Export Segments?
Exporting NextGen segment allows you to do the following:
Import data into a 3rd party system: If you have a 3rd party data management tool, you can use Listrak-identified contacts in these systems. Using the power of Listrak's segmentation, you can now act on them in 3rd party systems.
Add data to a Listrak contact's profile: Sometimes you may want to add data or an indicator to the profile of contacts who meet a set of criteria. Exporting a list of contacts allows you to identify these contacts and later import email or SMS contacts with this information.
