SUGGESTED STRATEGIES 

It's recommended to keep the content in these messages similar. We want the variable to be the customer, not the messages for the sake of analytics. 

MESSAGES 1 THROUGH 3

  • Goal: Drive the customer back to your site (to a page or item that they were browsing) since they haven't yet purchased. 
  • Base Ingredient: Similar Products, Purchase This Purchase That.
  • Backup Recipe: Top Sellers, Trending (using same attribute).

BROWSE ABANDONMENT NURTURE (BAN)

  • Goal: Generally happen in between standard messages and do not generally reference the abandoned product in the message. Goal is to get the customer back on the site. These items can directly compete with abandoned product, but still references the abandoned activity type. 
  • Base Ingredient: Recent Activity, Similar Items.
  • Backup Recipe: Top Sellers, Trending (using same attribute).
