The base ingredient is the foundation that all other recipe ingredients are built upon. By default, Purchased This Purchased That will be selected. To choose another option, click the gear icon beside the base ingredient name.

Begin building a recipe by selecting one of the below options as a base ingredient:

CEO'S PICKS

  • Choose the specific products to display by entering a list of product SKUs.
  • You may enter SKUs either comma-separated or one per line.

FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER (FBT)

  • Recommends products frequently purchased with the reference product on the same order.
  • Requires reference data
  • The reference SKU must be a purchasable product to function (usually a variant or child SKU).

GATEWAY PRODUCTS

  • Recommends products that are usually bought in a new customer’s first order.
  • Answers the question, "What products brought people to your website to begin with?"
  • Good ingredient for backup recipes.

PURCHASED THIS PURCHASED THAT (PTPT)

  • Same as Frequently Bought Together, however products returned are products purchased by the same customer, but not necessarily in the same transaction.
  • The reference SKU must be a purchasable product to function (usually a variant or child SKU).

RECENT ACTIVITY

  • Allows you to select either purchases, in order to show items that the customer has purchased, browsed products, in order to show items that a customer has viewed, or abandoned products, to display items that have been abandoned in the cart by the customer.
  • Requires reference data.

RECIPE

  • Formulate a newly crafted recipe on top of results from an existing recipe.

RELATED PRODUCTS

  • Import manually curated related products into Listrak to serve in product recommendations (supplemental or part of the product data files).
  • Available as a base ingredient and slider ingredient.
  • Requires reference data.

SIMILAR PRODUCTS

  • Uses our machine learning algorithms and browse data, along with all product file information to product products that are similar to the reference product.
  • Best left to work organically, as it controls the weighted sliders. Adding further ingredients conflicts with this recipe unless they are eliminating specific products, such as reference data.
  • Requires reference data.

TOP SELLERS

  • Returns top selling products by number units sold within a given date range.
  • Specify a time frame from the options of 7, 30, 90, or 365 days.
  • Narrow the top sellers to those from a specific category, department or brand, add additional ingredients to your recipe.
  • Good for backup recipes.

TRENDING

  • Good for bakcup recipes.
  • Returns products with the highest growth delta in a given time frame (%20, %50, %75, all).
  • 7 or 30 days.

VIEWED THIS, PURCHASED THAT (VTPT)

  • Recommend products based on viewing behavior. People that viewed this product bought these products.
  • Requires reference data.

VIEWED THIS, VIEWED THAT (VTVT)

  • Recommend products based on viewing behavior.
  • Returns products that have been browsed by customers who have also browsed the current product in the same browsing session.
  • Requires reference data.

WHAT'S NEW

  • Returns products from newest to oldest.
  • Good for backup recipes.
  • The date used to calculate the order is the Created Date in the Listrak product file. This date cannot be modified and is set when a product is first sent to Listrak.

TIPS

  • Ingredients that require reference date should not be used as backups, as they will return nothing if there is no reference data, and may return too few products if there isn't enough co-occurrence data.
  • Larger product files are generally handled in sections, as opposed to the whole product catalog.
