FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER

BASE INGREDIENT

  2. Select how many products are being referenced in this recipe.
  3. Add Purchasers, Browsed Products, and Abandoned Products, if applicable.

CART PAGE

  • Show cross-sell or up-sell (depending on type of product).
  • Use the addSku() method to use products in cart as reference activity.

CATEGORY PAGE

  • Show Top Sellers in the specific category.
  • Pass Category through the SetData(“Category”,””) function to match what is being passed in the product file as category.

HOME PAGE

  • Recently browsed products, similar products.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

  • Show cross-sell or up-sell (depending on type of product).
  • Use the addSku() method to use products in cart as reference activity.

PRODUCT PAGE

  • Show similar products, not the featured product.
  • Be sure that the recommender.render() function is placed after the product.browse() function, otherwise the similar products will be shown for the previous product browsed.
  • Browse data is using the current session to store last product browsed – if cookies are disabled, or may not be used as reference, use the addSku() method to use current product as the reference activity.

SALE/CLEARANCE PAGE

  • Utilize overarching recipe types such as top sellers and trending items - shows customers the "hot items" for the most recent/relevant time.

ZERO SEARCH PAGE

  • Show recently browsed products, as well as similar products.

404 PAGES

  • Show recently browsed products, as well as similar products.
