WHAT ARE SOME MORE ADVANCED FEATURES I CAN APPLY TO MY ABANDONMENT CAMPAIGN?

USING METADATA FOR MAP FILTERS

You can use metadata tags to filter customers into Abandonment threads that contain messages specifically designed for them. In the case of MAP filtering, we can filter shoppers with carts containing items that are displayed at MAP, or the minimum advertised price. Minimum advertised price is an agreement between suppliers and retailers stipulating the lowest price an item is allowed to be advertised at.

Setting up this special filter using metadata tags allows you to avoid mistakenly dropping below MAP by offering discounts on those items. You can instead send these customers an appealing message series that does not contain a discount. 

CHANGING CART LAYOUT

When your account is created, you're automatically given default cart templates. You can make edits to the default templates in your account or create new layouts. 

1. To edit a cart layout or add a new cart layout navigate to Solutions.
2. Then go to Abandonment.
3. Then click Settings.

CART RECREATE ON-SITE

If you have the ability to recreate customer carts, doing so creates a better customer experience. When a customer abandons a cart on their desktop and receives an Abandonment email on their phone and then clicks through, cart recreate will automatically recreate the customer's cart for them.
