Transactional messages, including order confirmation and shipping confirmation messages, are designed to further engage your audience. These messages are triggered by making requests to the Listrak REST API. Below is a brief explanation for a Listrak-led Transactional implementation.

PROVIDE LIST OF DATA FIELDS

Provide Listrak a list of all the necessary data fields that will be used in transactional messages. You can forward an example of an email that is currently being sent for your transactional messages to get the process started.

LISTRAK PROVIDES API IDS

We will provide you with all of message IDs and AttributeIDs for all the data points in the message. 

LISTRAK SETS UP THE MESSAGES 

Working closely with your design team, Listrak will set up the emails so when the API call is made, a customer will receive the transactional message.

TESTING YOUR MESSAGES

You can test your messages with test data at any point after the messages are set up. Please note that these are configured with a live API connection. Any live customer data sent through this connect will be sent to customers. To avoid sending live messages, please let your Project Manager know when you are ready to test.

Please coordinate with your Project Manager when you're ready to begin sending Transactional Messages with live customer data.
