CUSTOM CSV FILE FEED

Providing import files via Listrak's FTP enables data for ratings and reviews. This information is also used throughout the Listrak Platform to support various solutions. This file feed is used for Listrak's integration with TurnTo.

Before continuing, please be sure to have your FTP username, password, and URL. You will access the FTP server at ftp.listrak.com. Please contact success@listrak.com with any questions.

REVIEW FILE IMPORT SPECIFICATIONS

  • Accepted file formats: .csv and .txt. This format requires comma separated values (tabs, pipes, etc. are not acceptable).
  • All column headers listed must be present in the file. The ones marked as required must contain data, others may be empty.
  • Accepted encoding: UTF-7, ASCII, UTF-8, Unicode
  • If using plain text, remove all carriage returns (CR) and line feeds (LF, CRLF)
  • Use text qualifiers when necessary.

FILE SPECIFICATIONS

The table below explains all of the various data fields contained within the import files.

  • Header Name: the name of the header column when the file is imported.
  • Data Type: the accepted data types for the specific fields. Make sure to adhere to these data types. For example, the CreatedDate column must be a data type of Datetime. This means letters will not be accepted by the system for this field.
  • Requirement: indicates which fields are required, which fields are suggested, and which fields are completely optional to you.
  • Length: indicates a maximum character limit for the specified field. Boolean, Datetime, and Integer data types will be limited by their usage.
  • Description: a short description of each specification to provide context to what type of information should be expected within each field. It will also give some information pertinent to that specific column.

IMPORT/BOOLEAN VALUES

Import fields marked as Boolean accept any of the following case insensitive import string values:

CUSTOM XML FILE FEED

This is used by Magento 2.

  1. Provide Listrak with a sample review file in the accepted format below. Please structure your file in .xml format.
  2. Listrak verifies that the sample file is formatted correctly before the feed can be scheduled. Upload your custom review .xml file to the Listrak FTP using your credentials.
  3. Set up the feed for the full file to send once a day, if you have a large review file, batching it to send out at low traffic/system activity times is usually ideal (2-3am).
  • NOTE: Any nodes not appearing must be included in the .xml document, but can be left blank.
